The Scribal Group of Companies (Scribal) is committed to complying with Australia's Privacy Act.
The Privacy Act 1998 regulates the way Scribal uses personal information about you, including any information from which you can be reasonably identified. This Statement sets out policies on Scribal's management of personal information.
Collection
Scribal collects information about its potential and current customers whilst conducting business. This information allows us to identify you in order to provide you with goods & services and to keep you informed about products and offers that may be of interest to you.
The information we collect about you may include, your name, postal & delivery addresses, e-mail, telephone, fax numbers and other relevant details.
You may also be asked to provide credit information, including trade references, to establish an account with Scribal.
Disclosure
Scribal respects your privacy and will not sell or disclose information about you to anyone other than those involved in your dealings with Scribal, such as our employees, agents, contractors, your trade referees, credit reporting & collection agencies/bureaus unless:
(1) You have consented to Scribal disclosing information to others about you.
Or,
(2) Scribal is required by law to provide such information.
Marketing
Scribal continuously monitors and modifies its products and services to be a leader in its field. We may contact you to determine your requirements for current, new, additional or alternate products. Many customers rely on this service and appreciate being kept up to date. Should you decide you do not wish to receive such information, please notify our customer service department in writing.
Access
In accordance with the Privacy Act, you can access information about yourself held by Scribal and advise if you think it is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date. Should you require such access, please notify our customer service department in writing.
